Long time ago I had changed the D: drive to NTFS. Though I think the fix involves the registry edit described here and elsewhere as the report it gave me after the fix said it had fixed corrupted class filter drivers. Copying the files to C:\ worked, but when asked for the file location, the computer does not seem to recognize C:\I386. Yes the drive was formatted.That process was done at the beginning of the XP-PRO installation before i got to the actual installation of the xp software.
