The laptop only has two RAM slots. I wanted to upgrade to a 64-bit Windows 10, so this is the reason for the RAM upgrade to 4 GB. I got a refund instead. I bought a Kingmax 2GB DDR2 RAM.

The reason it was dark and we have mirrors in the bathroon and the room lights up really good. Windows boots up fine with different combination of the RAM sticks, put in different RAM slots, as long as the total RAM is 3 GB.
I do not know why I had to clear the CMOS memory this time, because I have previously changed RAM multiple times on my older desktop computers without having to resort When I put in 2 ram of 256mb it works fine. Then the third would show 768mb but when I try to boot any os even ubuntu I get a booting error.
