Solution 4: Update the Intel Rapid Storage Technology Driver. I didn't install any new updates in last days except Windows Defender definitions. 45 minutes and still checking for updates. Samsung 850 EVO (120GB, SSD). http://sysgsm.com/windows-vista/windows-vista-error.html I did it on mine as I didn't have any other indication……ended up with 178 updates!!!

I went back to an image I made two months ago, because all of the updates gave the same error (It wasn't just one of them).It gave me a different set I installed windows 7 on it from my back up DVDs and intell rapid storage drive.
