I picked important files and format the partition. Thanks in advance. Had same problems, until I removed the bad RAM stick.. worked for me.

Easely solved due to 2 DDR ram chips that would NOT talk together. I'm not sure what this person managed to do to fry both the HDD and the RAM at the same time, but here I am. FDisk again to add a partition. I am getting the error "error code 4 and cant copy the setupdd.sys, hit any key to exit" I tried 2 different CDs and swapped out the CD-Rom and still no Peace. Check This Out After that, i tried to install Windows XP but failed.
